The Floating Island

I was doing some late night digging the other day and found a video log of one of the best days of my life. During my study abroad program in France, I visited the walled city of Mont Saint Michel in a region of Normandy. The city itself is able to become an island of its own during high tide - how magical. The population totals to less than 45 habitants and the mystifying island is a historical site for religious worship, with a God at the top, with an abbey and a monastery. Our visit was especially extraordinary because during our visit, we ran into an a-cappella trio who sang beautiful hymns which echoed throughout the empty church. Every time I watch this video, I get goosebumps from the enchanting memories, and so I thought I would share it with you too. If you ever visit Mont Saint Michel, make sure you bring some hiking shoes - there are an infinite number of stairs to get to the top, but not to worry, the view is absolutely worth the hard exercise!
